Today as we move into the new liturgical year and begin the season of Advent there will be various opportunities for the Advent season this year but especially for the children the Children’s Liturgy team have generously agreed to present the liturgy every Sunday with an additional twist. Hopefully the children, persuaded by their parents, will come along and take part in this. There is a list at the back of the Church for children to sign up on if they wish to be involved.
We will also begin collecting gifts for the children of prisoners. Please wrap any gifts you make and mark the age and whether for a boy or girl on a label.
There will also be an evening Mass on Tuesday in place of the morning Mass so that those who cannot come in the morning have the opportunity to come.
Today: The new Altar Servers’ Rota and the new Readers’ Rota are ready for collection in the Sacristy after Mass. They come into effect next weekend

Monsignor Tony
O Wisdom,
you come forth from the most high,
You fill the universe and hold all things together
In a strong and gentle manner.
O come,
To teach us the way of truth.
