Today: Lists are at the back of the Church for Readers, Eucharistic Minsters, Passkeepers, and Servers to indicate their availability for the Holy Week Liturgies. Please indicate this as soon as possible so that the rotas can be drawn up soon. The lists will be removed after Mass on Sunday
Today: The Accounts for the Year ending 31st December 2015 are pinned to the notice board along with the comparative figures for 2014 and 2013. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Sunday: The coffee morning takes place after Mass with the Noisy Nutters group in charge. You are all welcome to go round to the Hall after Mass to sample the fare on offer.
Sunday: The children’s liturgy has recommenced during the 10.00 a.m. Mass and will continue each week for the remainder of Lent. This is specifically aimed at children of primary school age, so if this is your child, please do encourage them to attend.
Tuesday: Penitential Service in Our Lady’s at 7.00 p.m. Father Tom and myself will be available for confession and absolution.
Wednesday: The boys and girls who have been preparing for their First Reconciliation will celebrate the sacrament at 6.30 p.m. in St. Cuthbert’s. After they have been to confession I will be available for any adults who wish to avail themselves of the opportunity.
Diary Dates:
21st March: The traditional Penitential Service will take place at 7.00 p.m. There will be five or six priests available for individual confession and absolution as part of our Lenten journey towards Easter and also as part of our efforts for the Jubilee Year of Mercy. All welcome
24th March: Holy Thursday.
Mass of the Last Supper at 7.00 p.m. followed by watching at the Altar of Repose until Night Prayer of the Church
at 10.00 p.m.
25th March: Good Friday

8th – 15th July: The annual Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, led by Archbishop Cushley, will take place. Booking is now open and I have some forms and information if you are interested. I have a limited supply in the sacristy. Booking for the Saint-Frai Centre must be done through the Hospital Booking Secretary, 61 Hailes Gardens, Edinburgh EH13 0JN – Tel 0131.441.1939. Early booking is advised since there are limited places available especially in the Saint Frai centre.
