A thank you letter has been received from Sister Aelred at St. Catharine’s Convent following on the collection of gifts during Advent. In it she says “ I would like to thank you very sincerely for your very generous donation of Christmas presents for our homeless guests at Christmas – it makes such a difference to know they are not forgotten. Without your help we would not be able to continue this work.  We pray especially for you and all our benefactors every day.”  The full letter is on the notice board in the porch.

200 Club subscriptions for 2016 are now due. If you wish to renew your subscription please put your name and number on an envelope with you subscription.  It costs £12.00 for the year’s membership. If you are taking out a subscription for the first time simply write new member on the envelope containing your money.

The numbers have dropped considerably due to the deaths of members, members, moving away and others not paying their subscription for whatever reason. As it stands, there are 84 numbers unallocated. If it continues at this level the prize money will have to be reduced to comply with legal requirements.  We need 19 new members and all existing members to renew their subscription to be legal.

With every best wish and New Year Blessing

To you, your families

And all those who are dear to you.

Monsignor Tony.
