Parish Project: After the success of the last Parish Project when Calum’s Cabin and the Hospice of Hope in Myanmar shared the proceeds it is hoped to launch the next Parish Project after the holiday break. If you have any suggestions as to who could be beneficiaries please jot them down and hand them in after mass over the next few weeks. Up until now, there has been a home based charity and an overseas one. Once we have enough suggestions a short leet will be drawn up and a decision taken as to who will be the beneficiaries for the next two years.
The recent barbeque raised £460.00 which is the first amount for the new Parish Project once it is chosen.
As the holiday season is now upon us will all Readers, Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers please remember to ensure they have arranged cover if they are going to be away. This is especially important when a visiting priest is here to celebrate Mass. Please use the ‘post its’ in the sacristy to let me know about any swaps you make. Please don’t write on the rotas themselves.
