Today: There is a letter from Archbishop Cushley on the Eucharist. Please make sure you receive your copy as you leave Mass.

Today: You may notice that beautiful new altar candles and a new altar crucifix are being used for the first time at Mass. These have been gifted by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. They will be used on special occasions. Very many thanks indeed go to the donor for whose intentions I will be offering Mass.

Today: The new readers’ rota is ready for collection. Those who have not done so, please take your copy today since it comes into effect this weekend.

Sunday: Celebration of First Holy Communion during the 10.00 a.m. Mass. Seats will be reserved in the centre aisle for the children and their immediate families. Refreshments will be served in the Hall afterwards to which all are welcome.

Sunday: The Annual Pilgrimage in honour of St. Margaret takes place in Dunfermline. Full details are on the poster in the porch, giving details of times for Procession and Mass. There are also fliers available for you to take as you leave Mass.

Next Sunday: The Bishops’ Conference of Scotland have designated as the day for Life and asked that a retiral collection be taken up for the work of the Apostolate of Life. This year they are asking that we focus on the terrible crime of trafficking

 

Diary Dates:

11th June: Meeting of Parish Fabric & Finance Committee at 7.00 p.m. in the house.

30th June: The annual St. Cuthbert’s Parish Barbeque and Quiz after the 6.00 p.m. Mass. Tickets will be £7.00 which includes two burgers and salads.  Children’s tickets will be £3.00 (same prices as last year).  These will be sale after Mass with profits going to the Parish Project Fund.  Bring your own bottle (s).

2nd – 6th July: New Dawn Catholic Pilgrimage Conference takes place in St Andrews, Fife from Monday 2 to Friday 6 July. More details at www.newdawninscotland.com

6th July: The Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes leaves. If you have any petitions you wish to be taken to Lourdes there will be a box at the back of the Church from next Saturday/Sunday.  Please put your intentions into a sealed envelope, marked Lourdes Petitions / Intentions.

 

The Stall has the current issue of ‘Day by Day’ covering June/July now available for collection by those of you who have it on order. Please collect your copy as soon as possible.
