He has invited Bishop Robert Barron of Los Angeles to lead an evening on “Proclaiming Christ in Our Culture.” This will take place in the Usher Hall and admission is by tickets which go on sale from tomorrow. Contact the Usher Hall Box Office by telephone at 0131 228 1155 or online at usherhall.co.uk or in person and give them the code “Fire 18” prior to booking your tickets. That lets them know that you are a parish of the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh.  Fuller details and prices are given about Bishop Barron and the booking arrangements in the letter and a flier. Until May 1st priority is being given to people from this Archdiocese and after that tickets will be on open sale.

New Envelopes for Gift Aid Donors: The new envelopes should now be being used. There are still some Gift Aid envelopes to be collected from the Sacristy.  Housekeeping has been done on the records, so some donors will now have a different number; to avoid any confusion please do not use any old envelopes and destroy any remaining old envelopes once the new tax year begins.

The envelopes for non-Gift Aid contributors are also now available in the sacristy after Mass. These are the ones without labels on them.

Parish Project Update: Between the Easter Egg Raffle and the best decorated Easter eggs £181.10 was raised bringing the current total for the Fund to £4564.30.

If you have any suggestions further about Fund Raising events please let me know so that everything can be coordinated.

Each year a significant part of the old Easter Candle is left. If anyone is interested they can take the 2017 candle and use it in a dignified way otherwise it will end up going to landfill/recycling.

With every best wish and Blessing

To you, your families

and those who are dear to you,

Monsignor Tony.
