Sam has a question which can never be answered ‘Yes.’ ‘So do I’, said his friend Jim. How about ‘Are you a gorilla ?’ I could never answer that with a ‘Yes.’’ Oh yes you could,’ said Sam,’but you would have to lie. The question I am thinking of could never be answered with a yes even by the most brazen liar.’ What was the question Sam had in mind ?

Answer next week – maybe !

Emergency Cover while I am in Lourdes will be provided by Father Tom (449.2372), Father Tony Quinlan at St. John Ogilvie’s (453.5035). I am grateful to them for providing this support and to the parishioners who will be looking after the house. I will be remembering you and your intentions in my prayers during the course of the Pilgrimage to Lourdes this coming week.
